Big Brother legend dating HUGE internationally famous US popstar Shawn Mendes – after his split with VERY famous ex

POP superstar Shawn Mendes is thought to be dating a former Big Brother star.

The chart-topping singer, 25, has been seen on a break with Charlie Travers on the beach in California.

The cosy trip saw series 14 star Charlie, 37, from Hertfordshire, and the Stitches singer looking engrossed in one another as they frolicked on the beach.

Charlie made Big Brother history in 2013 when she entered the house as one-half of the show's first ever mother-daughter duo with her mum Jackie.

She then moved to the US and went on to star in the TV show Hollywood Medium for three years until 2019.

She's now a presenter, and has worked on the Grammy web series On Location and the Permission Slip Podcast.

For a time, she also dated Kyland Young, who appeared on America’s Big Brother in 2021.

It comes after Shawn split from his superstar ex Camila Cabello for a second time back in July.

The couple were an item for two and a half years until splitting in November 2021, but got back together earlier this year at Coachella in April.

A source told The Sun: "Shawn and Camila have a lot of history and they tested the waters again after coming back into each other's lives.

"But it was just a fling and they've put an end to it now.

"They realised it was probably a mistake to give things another shot. Things ended between them the first time for a reason, after all.

"In reality, both of them know they aren't right for each other romantically and now they just want to move on."

When they parted ways in 2021, they released a statement confirming their separation.

At the time, they said: "Hey guys, we've decided to end our romantic relationship, but our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever.

"We started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends.

"We so appreciate your support from the beginning and moving forward."

The split inspired Camila's song Bam Bam, in which she appeared to take aim at him, given he had shared photos of himself surfing shortly after they went their separate ways.

In that track, she sang: "You said you hated the ocean but you're surfing now.

"I said I'd love you for life, but I just sold our house."

Shawn also released the songs It'll Be Okay and When You're Gone.

In the latter, he crooned: "You never know how good you have it until you're staring at a picture of the only girl that matters."
