Honey G can FINALLY afford to buy Christmas presents as she reaps financial rewards of X Factor success

HONEY G is over the moon to finally be able to afford Christmas presents for her family members this year after stunning the nation with her rap talent on the X Factor.

The performer, real name Anna Georgette Gilford, tells Bizarre she’s glad to “actually afford Christmas presents” after years of struggle.

She told The Sun’s Bizarre: “I have splashed out a little bit. It’s nice for me to actually have a year where I can actually afford Christmas presents for people.

“Some years I’ve been struggling financially where I haven’t been able to afford to go out or I haven’t been able to afford to buy people presents.”

Her single The Honey G Show—is released today.

Honey G, 38, branded this year “probably the best year I’ve ever had in my whole life”.

The rapper revealed she is keen to settle down, get married and have kids since finishing the X Factor.

She said: “I’m waiting to get swept off my feet. Maybe it would be good to meet a celebrity. For starters I’d have something in common with a celebrity.

“One being we both wouldn’t be able to walk down the street every single day. Why not? It would be nice to meet a celebrity.

“I’m looking for someone who is beautiful on the inside as well, very romantic, caring. A very nice genuine person. I’m looking for someone to settle down long term. I don’t want to have loads of flings.”

Honey says marriage and kids are also part of her plan.

“I am looking for love. I am single. I’m looking for someone to settle down with on a long term basis.

“I’d like to get married, I’d like to have children. So I’m looking for that special someone.”

Earlier this week Honey denied she’d be entering the Big Brother house (link), telling her Twitter followers: “Just to clarify to my fans, this is not true. I haven’t agreed to be on Big Brother.”

Explaining why she will not be taking part, her rep told The Sun Online: “Right now Honey G is busy with releasing her debut single ‘The Honey G Show’ which is out this Friday, 23rd December.

"Then she starts rehearsals for the X Factor tour which starts in February”.
