JAMES 'Arg' Argent is 'heartbroken' after splitting from his model girlfiend, Stella Turian, 19.
The Towie star, 35, has been dating the Italian beauty, who was 16 years his junior, for a year.
claims the pair called time on their romance after struggling to deal with the realities of a long-distance relationship.
Law student Stella is based in the Italian mountains, where she lives on a ski resort.
A source close to James revealed that, despite the pair's best efforts, making their romance work proved too difficult.
The insider said: "Throughout the summer it became increasingly difficult for them to meet up due to their work commitments.

"There are no hard feelings between them, they still follow each other on Instagram, and James is even invited to come out to ski with Stella and family early next year.
"They made lasting memories, travelling around the most romantic parts of Italy together and Stella visited London for the first time to see James, but for now they have mutually agreed that their relationship is over."
Arg met Stella at a wedding in Mykonos, Greece in the summer of 2022.
Just last month, James gushed to The Sun about his gorgeous girlfriend, hinting marriage was on the cards.

He revealed: "I'm loved-up. I have been seeing an Italian girl for a while now.
"Her name is Stella, she lives in Italy, we met and became friends and it just snowballed from there.
"We are doing the long distance at the moment but it is working for us. She is beautiful and I am really happy."
He added: "I would love to get married one day", he explained.
"It's a bit early right now but who knows I could be singing at my own wedding one day."
