The Michigan-born star's talents caught the eye of rap royalty Dr Dre, who was executive producer on his 2000 album Restless.

This led to him bagging a spot on Slim Shady star Eminem's track B***h Please II recording as well as a guest spot on Limp Bizkit's album, Chocolate Starfish and the Hotdog Flavoured Water.

After huge success, Xzibit opted for a hiatus in 2006 after the release of record, Full Circle.

He filed for bankruptcy in 2009 and 2010 - with both filings dismissed.

In the meantime, Xzibit turned his hand to TV, starring in shows including Pimp My Ride and Empire.

He has also dabbled in the movie world, with stints in films including The X Files and Sun Dogs.

The star, real name Alvin Nathaniel Joiner, was seen in a new TikTok video by the OCChiropractor captioned: "Xzibit gets his first ever adjustment."

He was seen starting the treatment on a chair before moving to a massage couch adorned with a series of straps.

He looked completely different in casual sweats and with a more built-up frame, as well as stubble around his chin.

His cornrow hairstyle was gone in favour of a close-cut.

One fan remarked in the comments: "Has anyone seen Xzibit since? Hope he's OK."

Yet despite his different look fans were quick to call out one huge similarity, this being his chuckle.

One wrote: "Xzibit's laugh just took me back to high school watching MTV. So cool."

Another added: "This is like seeing an old friend lol. I haven't seen Xzibit in years."

Recently, a Nineties star looked completely different 30 years after his band's top hit.

We recently reported how American rocker Dan Spitz traded in his guitarist role in metal band Anthrax for a career as a watch-maker.
