This Morning viewers left in shock after the as the Outnumbered kids appear on the show looking very grown up
Daniel Roche who plays youngest child Ben was especially surprising
THIS Morning viewers were left feeling old today when the Outnumbered children conducted their only interview together ahead of the Boxing Day special.
Ramona Marquez, 15, Daniel Roche, 17, and 20-year-old Tyger Drew-Honey haven’t appeared onscreen together since the show finished airing in 2011, and couldn’t quite believe how different they all looked – namely Daniel who is now a very bulky rugby player.
Speaking of his sporting pursuits he said he was playing at academy level adding: “It’s basically the closest you can come to getting a professional contract. It’s kinda the highest level below international, so it’s been taking up a lot of my time so I’ve been acting less.”
Remarking on how much Daniel who plays mischievous Ben has changed, one viewer said: “HES GOT SUCH A DEEP VOICE. Did not expect that #thismorning!”
Another added that they felt “old”: “Seeing the kids from OutNumbered all grown up makes me realise how old I am #ThisMorning”
While someone else just had to tweet their disbelief: “@thismorning #thismorning I can't believe the outnumbered kids 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😆”
Earlier this week they admitted that they’ve become a little tired of being compared to their younger on-screen characters.
Ramona Marquez, in particular, has revealed that she is constantly reminded of the things her TV alias Karen said when she began the role at the age of 5.
She said that GIFs and memes remind her constantly about how “brutal” her character was.
Speaking to Buzzfeed, she admitted: “I’ve definitely stumbled across a GIF of Karen saying funny things.
“I don’t know at the time when I was filming it, the things I was saying. I guess that when you’re a kid you do sort of say things, the brutal reality of things, and that’s why Karen is funny, because she says it like it is.”
The actress added: “I guess I find it weird because I never thought of it at the time as being significant to anyone, so it is a bit strange, but I do think it is really nice and funny.”
Meanwhile Daniel revealed: “I had those relationship with shows where you watch them young and you look at the actors now and you are like, this is mad.”
Tyger Drew-Honey, 20, who plays Jake, also said: “[People come] up to me and they are like, ‘You look, like, so much older!”, and yet I have been living in the same time, on the same planet, as you, so I have aged as well.”
