IT'S the show that aims to set regular people up with the loves of their lives by introducing them for the first time at the altar.
But despite Married At First Sight's continued popularity, its success rate with long-lasting couples is nothing to write home about.
MAFS UK 2024 kicked off in September and welcomed 8 new couples to the experiment, followed by three "intruder" pairs.
Similar to past series', season 9 has been filled with drama - plus allegations of cheating and wife-swapping.
Despite the show not being over yet, it seems some of the couples' fate has already been revealed.
Trouble in paradise
It has been reported how one of the strongest couples on the MAFS 2024 split after filming and he already has a new girlfriend.

A TV source told : “Hannah and Orson's betrayal is revealed during one of the commitment ceremonies after Sascha blurted out the truth behind their closeness.
“Their affair rocks the cast who have all been trying to navigate their marriages with advice from the relationship experts and the last thing you expect is for two couples to break their vows."
MAFS couples that have stood the test of time
The first ever series of Married At First Sight UK aired in 2015 and only included two couples.
This continued until season 6, when producers decided to follow the blueprint of the Australian version and have multiple pairings instead.
Since the show began most of the couples put together by the experts haven't stayed together.
But there are a lucky few who found the love of their lives on MAFS.
Here we take a look at all the couples who are still together since the show began.
Paul Liba and Tasha Jay
After meeting in MAFS season 8, Paul Liba and Tasha Jay are still in a relationship.
The couple have gone from strength to strength and regularly share loved up selfies.
In early 2024, Tasha and Paul revealed they would be moving in together, with the bride telling at the time: "Paul's gonna move up north, he's gonna be a northerner."
Paul added: "I'm used to moving about in life so I'm looking forward to it.
"But up north, that's the first time for me. I don't know how I feel about it - the accents!"
Shona Manderson and Matt Pilmoor
Despite not being paired together and appearing on the show at different times, Matt Pilmoor and Shona Manderson have since got together after meeting on MAFS 8.
Shona was originally paired with Brad Skelly, but following accusations of controlling and narcissistic behaviour, they were axed from the show.
Meanwhile, Matt was coupled with Adrienne Naylor, but they split shortly after their final vows.
After this he got together with Shona, and they have been happy ever since.
Zoe Clifton and Jenna Robinson
Another couple to make MAFS UK history is Zoe Clifton and Jenna Robinson.
Despite a slight rocky start, where they clashed over Jenna's vegan lifestyle, the show's first same sex pairing are still going strong.
They even have a successful podcast together called Life With a Pod.
The pair announced their engagement in June 2024, with Jenna posting: "We’ve been keeping a little secret..
"A week ago the absolute love of my life asked me to marry her 🥹 from me being a little slow on the uptake, thinking Zoe had just gone a little overboard for date night to Bobo setting himself on fire 😬 it was perfect and chaotic and just very “us”
"Not to be cliché but I genuinely didn’t think that this type of love actually existed, to have someone who loves you, cares and respects you as much as you do them, is the most incredible feeling.. and now I get to marry my best friend instead of a stranger! 💍
"I guess we have a particular TV show to thank for setting us up on the wildest 1st date ever.. so thank you @e4mafsuk @e4grams
"I adore you @zoeclifton.. We are going to make the cutest little old married lesbian couple ever!!! 🥹💕and what a way to celebrate pride month 🌈"
Tayah Victoria and Adam Aveling
Loved-up Tayah Victoria and Adam Aveling of series six fame had the first MAFS baby.
The pair couldn't keep their hands off each other on the programme and quickly found their feet in the outside world, moving into Adam's Doncaster home.
Just 18 months after meeting, the couple welcomed their daughter Beau in October 2023.
Michelle Walder and Owen Jenkins
Season 5 couple Michelle Walder and Owen Jenkins also managed to make their marriage work away from the cameras and are expecting their first child in December 2024.
Teacher Michelle has no regrets about taking part in the experiment.
She told us: “I just feel very lucky and thankful that it has worked out - and excited for everything to come.”
Michelle and Owen, then 25 and 31, were both sick of dating apps when they applied in 2019.
Owen recalled: “I had been out for some drinks with a friend after work.
"While he was out for a cigarette I was scrolling on Instagram waiting for him to come back in.

“A few beers later when I was back at home I sent in the application, and the rest is history.”
