Amanda Holden’s incredible Halloween costume revealed as stars including Alex Scott and Zara McDermott dress up

WHETHER it's a sexy take on cartoon characters or daring barely-there outfits, celebs have gone all out this Halloween.

Amanda Holden revealed her take on nerdy Scooby-Doo icon Velma this morning, slipping into an orange long-sleeve crop top, red PVC mini skirt and thigh-high socks.

Her Heart radio co-stars Ashley Roberts and Jamie Theakston also got in on the act as members of the crime-solving gang.

Jamie dressed as hapless scruff Shaggy in his trademark green T-shirt and brown cords and donned a floppy auburn wig.

Pussycat Doll Ashley took on the role of the show's sex symbol Daphne, wearing a purple figure-hugging mini dress.

Amanda's pooch Rudie might have been dressed as goofy pooch Scooby, but he was more Scrappy-Doo in stature.

Fans loved the team effort. One person wrote on Instagram: "This is the funniest one yet!!! Howling." 

Another said: ""This is everything and Rudy is the best." A third shared: "Love this!!"

Elsewhere, football presenter Alex Scott looked incredible after transforming into a sexy version of Pennywise, the terrifying clown from Stephen King's It.

Kylie and Kendall Jenner also went down the movie route, as baddies Sugar and Spice from the film Batman Forever.

Loose Women viewers were kept guessing by another film favourite, with Nadia Sawalha appearing as Anjelica Huston's Grand High Witch.

She later emerged looking considerably more terrifying as the character from the 1990 movie without her mask.

Maya Jama was another who employed professionals to help her realise a Halloween dream.

She turned into Halle Berry's X-Men character Storm and even cut her own promo video using a green screen.

Elsewhere Love Island twins Eve and Jess Gale left little to the imagination as they posed together in see-through catsuits and stilettos.

A pair of cat ears were the only Halloween theme giveaway behind their look.

I'm A Celeb signing Sam Thompson and his girlfriend Zara McDermott pulled off one of the funniest looks of the spooky season.

They parodied a classic Come Dine With Me episode that saw one contestant tear into another after handing over the £1,000 prize.

The fun couple reversed roles with Zara dressing as angry male Peter while Sam dressed as Jane, the recipient of his wrath.

Axed Strictly star Zara held up a sign with Peter's viral quote written on it.

It said: "Dear Lord, what a sad little life, Jane. You have all the grace of a reversing dump truck without any tyres on."

Geordie Shore's Chloe Ferry and Chantelle Connelly posed as a Playboy bunny and Poison Ivy, respectively, while Love Island's Sophie Piper dressed as The Little Mermaid's Ariel.

Another Islander, Arabella Chi, looked great as a BDSM-inspired Bat Girl while Kim Kardashian effortlessly and flawlessly recreated '90s cult classic flick Clueless's iconic checked styling.

Geordie lass Sophie Kasaei also wowed dressed up as a Batgirl while Love Island's Demi Jones wowed as a devil.

Meanwhile TalkTV host Lizzie Cundy commanded attention as always after transforming into a sexy devil at the London Lifestyle Awards.
