Danniella Westbrook loses new teeth whitening job after clients ‘kick off about her having septicaemia… and having to lie back and look at her face’
DANNIELLA Westbrook has lost her new job performing teeth whitening - and she claims it's because clients voiced their concerns about her previous battle with septicaemia... and her face.
The 43-year-old thought her year was going to end on a good note after she trained up with company Essex Smiles to deliver pearly-white grins to punters less than pleased with their natural teeth and secured a job in a salon in her adopted home city of Liverpool.
But days after hawking for business on her Instagram page, she returned to the social media site to announce that she would no longer be overseeing the treatments.
Last night she wrote: "Just so everyone is aware... I WILL NOT BE DOING TEETH WHITENING AT LIP COUTURE, As apparently due to my septicaemia & multiple operations clients don't want to look at me or have me treating them.
"SO Nicole's mum Suzanne will be doing the treatments... Wishing the girls all the best & happy Christmas all x."
Along with the sad update, the mum-of-two posted a collage of pics showing the hi-tech teeth whitening stations, a before and after shot of some luminous gnashers, and two happy clients - Love Island winners Nathan Massey and Cara De La Hoyde.
She also included an add for a 'designer vagina' op "as carried out on Danniella Westbrook" - which fans were given a front row seat to thanks to Snapchat.
To some, it seemed like a strange job for her to have considering she has had non-stop dental problems all year.
However, the owner of the top salon, Nicole Francis, claimed that it wasn't the hard-up soap star's appearance that cost her her job, it was the fact she left dirty, bloody tissues around the treatment room.
Speaking to The Sun online, she explained that she had planned to work with the ex-EastEnders star on a PR project rather than having her treating clients, but there was an incident on Monday that ended their professional relationship, at least for now.
She said: "Unfortunately day one of her starting the business she turned up late and was all over the place.
"She left tissues left on the side with blood and anything else coming out of her nose in a clinical room, so I said to cover it for hygiene purposes!
"This was the only reason we did not go ahead with the treatment. It was the hygiene element and nothing to do with her appearance.
"I still count Danniella as a friend, and I wish her well, especially at this time of year.
"I also hope we can work together in the future."
However, despite putting a brave face on things, a source close to the hard-up star told The Sun online that Danniella has been left devastated by the blow.
They said: "Danniella feels like they used her to get exposure for their salon and lots of bookings, but instead they got the owner's mum doing the treatments instead of the original deal that Danniella was doing it.
"It's such a shame for her, she just can't catch a break."
The former EastEnders actress has been spending a lot of time in Liverpool after she lost her house and car.
She's been taking her mind off her everyday woes by spending a long time with her friends at top salon Lip Couture.
Danniella has visited there to get her eyebrows tattooed on, have hair extensions fitted and undergo wrinkle freezing injections.
She even shared a no-holds barred Snapchat video of her getting her lady bits prodded with tightening wand by one of the practitioners.
There were more tears earlier this year when she was hospitalised with blood poisoning after her dental implants became infected.
She also split with her toyboy lover George Arnold, 24, after she accused him of cheating on her with a close friend.
Her 'annus horribilis' has also involved a terrifying stalker, being dropped from EastEnders after a short comeback and her son revealing details of his traumatic childhood when she was hooked on cocaine.
A rep for Danniella has been contacted for comment.
