Matthew Perry poses with rarely-seen dad – and he’ll look very familiar to Friends fans
MATTHEW Perry enjoyed some quality time with his dad - who Friends fans recognised instantly.
The actor's dad also enjoyed his time on the screen and is best known for starring in the Old Spice adverts.
Matthew and John Bennett Perry posed for the camera in a huge open-plan living room beside a huge snooker table.
"Here is me, and my father John, both holding a beverage," Matthew wrote in the caption.
As well as appearing in the deodorant commercial, John played Joshua's dad in season four.

He wrote about his lifelong battle with addiction in his tell-all memoir Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing.
"I’ve read your book. Twice. One of the reasons I decided to get sober," one fan wrote.
"I just finished your book. Those of us that are long-time fans had no clue what you were going through. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. I was truly touched and I hope you continue to stay healthy!" chimed a second.
In February 2022 he shared a photo of the book, which had his face on the cover.
"So much has been written about me in the past. I thought it was time people heard from me. The highs were high, the lows were low. But I have lived to tell the tale, even though at times it looked like I wouldn’t. And it’s all in here. I apologize it’s not a pop up book," he wrote in the caption.
Matthew has battled with addiction since he was in his 20s, not long after he joined the cast of Friends, playing Chandler Bing in 1994.
He once even admitted to "not remembering three years" of filming due to his drug and alcohol use.
Matthew entered rehab in 1997, and has returned to facilities multiple times throughout the past two decades.
His addiction has also led to health issues, including pancreatitis and gastrointestinal perforation.
