IT’LL be “new year, new Lisa Appleton” as the reality star has vowed to lose weight after being mocked by trolls when chomping on sausages in her bikini during her recent Spanish holiday.
The 48-year-old’s main form of exercise was taking the bins out in her underwear but that’s now changed as the ex-Big Brother star has been seen working up a sweat in the gym.
Dressed in pink velour jogging bottoms, a black crop top and a baseball cap, Lisa was red faced as she strained to lift the weights.
But knowing there’s no pain no gain, the reality star fought through the burn and embarked on a series of bicep curls, before being put through her paces on the treadmill.
This is all part of Lisa’s plight to award Britain with their very own Kim Kardashian.
Speaking to The Sun Online, the self-professed Kim K look alike said she’s proud of her curves and doesn’t care about being papped with her “bits” out.
She said: “I’ve been asked if I’m embarrassed being papped with my bits and bum out — why would I be?
“I know I get caught off guard but I don’t mind. This is me. Why would I be embarrassed of being me?”

She added: “The UK needs its own Kim Kardashian and I’m happy to fill that spot and make women realise that life’s too short to take yourself too seriously.
“I’ve got the big womanly bottom and the long dark hair like Kim, but I’m the down-to-earth version.
“I’m always being stopped in the street. If I had a Pound for every time someone told me I look like her I’d be rich.”
