Natalie Imbruglia, 48, stuns as she strips down to a red bikini on holiday on a yacht

NATALIE Imbruglia looked incredible as she drank bubbly in a red bikini in Portofino.

The 48-year-old pop star headed to the pretty Italian coastal village for her singer-songwriter pal Jack Savoretti's birthday.

Part of the trip saw Natalie take to the water on a yacht to enjoy the warm autumnal sunshine.

Her brown hair blew across her face in the breeze as she smiled at the camera.

The Torn hitmaker wore natural makeup and laid across the boat while holding a glass champagne flute.

The picture was hidden among a collection of snaps from the trip which Natalie captioned: "Magical few days in Portofino celebrating my dear friend @jacksavoretti Birthday!!! What a fab bunch of people and Portofino is my new favourite place. Missing you all… and the sun and the sea… and the pasta!!"

One shot showed Natalie looking glamorous in a purple dress and her four-year-old son Max Valentine's name could be seen tattooed on her arm.

She also posted a picture of the harbour from her hotel room complete with more bubbly in an ice bucket.

One fan commented: "Always welcome in our beautiful country."

Another posted: "Gorgeous as always."

A third said: "Stunning and the scenery isn’t bad x."

In August Natalie put her six bedroom London home on the market for a cool £2.6m.

The singer bought the impressive property in 2000 and even named her second studio album after the peninsula it is situated on - White Lilies Island.

Aussie Natalie shot to fame as Beth Brennan in Neighbours in 1992 when she was just 17.

She left the Australian soap in 1994 but made a brief reappearance last year for its finale - before the show was saved by Amazon Freevee and Fremantle.

When it comes to music Natalie is of course best known for her 1997 mega hit Torn which has been certified 3x platinum in the UK.

Last year Natalie won The Masked Singer as Panda, beating Charlotte Church's Mushroom.
