Robbie Williams admits he doesn’t mind if wife Ayda Field fakes orgasms because he’s done it too
TO celebrate 25 years in the business, for the first time ROBBIE WILLIAMS yesterday took part in a Facebook Live on my page to celebrate being named Brits Icon – an honour only ever given to DAVID BOWIE and ELTON JOHN.
And just like KIM KARDASHIAN, he broke the internet when he nearly displayed more than he bargained for when he showed me his tiger pants.
The singer also opened up about his early career, future with TAKE THAT, JASON ORANGE, wife AYDA FIELD and celebrity BFF ADELE.
Check out what he has to say.
Robbie on . . . .
Adele: “She an amazing songwriter with a unique voice, she’s also an amazing mum.
“She does all of this work and then comes home, gets up at the crack of dawn and takes care of her son so well and so beautifully.
“She’s got more energy than I do. I go to work and say, ‘I’m not getting up until 12, I’ve got to re-coup’.
“She gets up and puts a load of washing in while looking after her little boy.
“She’s one hell of a person, but she’s an incredible mum on top of all of her ample talents.”
Ayda and faking orgasms: “Me and Ayda are classic oversharers, as you’ve just seen with the pubes on the worldwide web, so I’m not embarrassed by anything she says . . . yet.
“It’s sort of like a good stop point. It would be unloving to say, ‘Can you just get off?’
“So she, apparently a few times, has faked an orgasm. That’s all right by me. It’s just a loving way to say, ‘you can stop now’. I think I did (fake orgasm) once but it was a long time ago.”
Having more babies: “Ayda wants more and I’m happy with a larger family, but I’m also really pleased that we’ve got two.
"I could stop here but Ayda wants to carry on, and I’m on the Ayda train.”
Jason Orange: “We were a family, and Jason was the older brother. And like with families you want to prove to the older brother you can do it.
“And I was an irritant. And the more I got up his nose, the more I wanted to do it. But that’s a brotherly dynamic.
“Jay is the philosopher of the band, he’s incredibly clever, incredibly well read and he’s got a great take on life and the meaning of it. He’s fascinating company and I miss him — I wish he was in the band.”
Performing with Take That at Brits Icon gig: “When we did rehearsals it was like, ‘This is absolute magic. And if rehearsals feel this magic I can’t imagine what it’s going to be like when the boys step out in front of a loving audience’.
“We were in the Troxy that evening and everything just went through the roof and the feeling was palpable. Yeah it was loving and lovely and an incredible moment.”
Rejoining band for 25th anniversary in 2018: “I think something will happen but it’s difficult to get our diaries to coincide with each other because I have ideas and a solo career.
“And when I have an idea, it’s not like, ‘Oh we can do that tomorrow and it’ll last 24 hours’. These ideas stretch for two years. And I’ve got another idea that’s just come up, so I doubt it’s going to be in the next two years.”
TV show Let It Shine: “I’m really looking forward to seeing Gary and the boys’ new show on the BBC. Hopefully I will be involved at some point. It’s very exciting and hopefully it’ll be a big thing, catch fire and go off into the West End and around the world and be a success.”
Early Take That videos: “My relationship with the Do What You Like video has changed through the years.
“The day we were doing it I couldn’t believe we got to do a pop promo — which is what they were called at the time — and I thought I was really lucky.
“And then (the band’s manager) Nigel Martin-Smith charged us £10 to own a copy. So I took the video cassette home and I put it on and I was like, ‘Oh Lord, I think I’m still happy’.
“For those who don’t know Do What You Like, you should go and YouTube it. We are naked and there is Lycra and codpieces and we are being mopped with mops because we are covered in jelly, writhing around on the floor.
“So that was my old relationship with it — embarrassment and excitement. But now I’ve totally embraced the naff and I love that video. It’s one of my favourite ever. It’s embarrassing but beautifully embarrassing.”
Girlfriends: “We weren’t allowed to talk about girlfriends or have girlfriends at one point. All the boys hid their girlfriends from our manager at the time.”
Leaving Take That and joining Liam Gallagher at Glastonbury: “So we weren’t allowed to do a lot of things then and I think a light went on in my head and I thought, ‘I am now more powerful than the word no. I can go and do this’.
It’s like being put on the naughty step.
“Because, like my kids at the moment, they get put on the naughty step and just stay there. They don’t realise they’ve got legs and they can walk away.
(Pointing to a Liam Gallagher pic) This is when I realised I’ve got legs and I can walk away. I got into a Jaguar full of champagne in the boot from the Nordoff Robbins award. I was dropped off at Glastonbury and my world forever changed.”
Having 20 pairs of Tiger pants: “At first I was like, ‘Oh I’ll wear them because it’ll be funny’. Then actually I was like, ‘I feel really good in these pants, it’s a great way to start the day’.”
Christmas dinner: “We have a chef. I’m posh.”
Margot: 'I do Down Under
THE festive season isn’t quite the same Down Under.
But with no chance of a white Christmas, MARGOT ROBBIE has gone for a white wedding instead.
The Suicide Squad actress got hitched to British boyfriend Tom Ackerley in a secret ceremony in Byron Bay at the weekend, with only close friends and family invited.
A source revealed: “They were determined to keep it under wraps so only told guests the location on the day of the wedding.
“Margot has always been very private with her relationship and didn’t even confirm the news over the summer that she had got engaged.
“The couple flew from their home in London to her native Australia last week and are over the moon to have finally tied the knot.”
Margot is believed to have been given away by her mum Sarie, along with her brothers Lachlan and Cameron.
It is thought her sister Anya was maid of honour.
She met film director Tom in 2013 on the set of World War Two flick Suite Francaise.
The couple have now been together for three years.
Hopefully they will be for many more.
Camila out in disharmony
TAYLOR SWIFT’s best pal CAMILA CABELLO has stirred up bad blood with her ex FIFTH HARMONY bandmates.
The girl group announced yesterday that Camila had quit – claiming she only told them via her reps.
And she didn’t hang around, ending her commitments on the day her contract with Syco was up.
But last night Camila insisted: “The girls were aware of my feelings through the long, much-needed conversations. Saying that they were just informed through my representatives that I was “leaving the group” is simply not true.”
Remaining members ALLY, LAUREN, DINAH and NORMANI, below, insist they will release a new album next year.
The bigger issue they face is whether they keep their name – like 5IVE awkwardly did when there was just three of them.
Jingle Bells
MY 12 Dudes of Christmas continues with ex-BLAZIN’ SQUAD star KENZIE.
He’s gone from a boy band to being an internationally successful DJ with a Dubai residency.
