Harry Styles ‘facing court’ for £6 and a Kit Kat Chunky after comic gag goes too far
JOE Lycett is going to war with Harry Styles - over £6 and a KitKat chunky.
The comedian has threatened the pop singer with small claims legal action after he failed to cough up the price of his mock David Hockney painting.
Joe ‘sold’ a portrait he did of the former One Direction star after it was revealed the singer had travelled to France to sit for legendary artist David.
But he’s joked that he’s yet to receive his promised payment, which he set at the chocolate bar and £6 in cash.
He told the RHLSTP with Richard Herring podcast: “I sent him my bank details and an address to send the Kitkat Chunky, I said ‘What address do you want it sending to?’ and he went silent on me.
“I thought ‘S*** I should have asked if I could screenshot and put it on’ Instagram but I thought, he looks good out of it, he’ll be fine. But then I went into a spiral thinking, ‘I’ve pissed off Harry Styles, he wanted to be friends…’

“So a few days later I asked him ‘Can I have an address for this because it’s important that you have the artwork’ and he gave me an assistant’s address.
“I haven’t yet sent it but I’m going to send it with a stamp addressed envelope for the Kit Kat Chunky to make it really easy…
“I still am desperate for my Monzo account to say H Styles, six quid but hopefully it will come directly from him but it’s still not happened.
“But I checked with a lawyer on this - if he doesn’t pay within the 28 days I will send an invoice if he doesn’t pay that within 28 days I’m taking him to the Small Claims Court. I am going to do it!”
