EASTENDERS stars Shane Richie and Jessie Wallace have left Kat and Alfie in Walford to transform into Robin Hood and Maid Marion for a new pantomime.
The pair are taking part in a festive production of Robin Hood in Southampton, and they are set to wow theatre-goers with their stage antics.
Jessie and Shane, who played soap couple Kat and Alfie moon, are taking to the stage together at the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton.
They kicked off their run over the weekend, and they are set to star in the show until 8 January.
The production has been described as a "sheriff-busting, arrow-shooting, tights-wearing, hog-roasting pantomime extravaganza".
Shane expressed his excitement about the show in a post on Twitter.
He wrote: "Green tights ,sword fights, Wizards ,3D and a damsel in distress what could possibly go wrong ? only place to be this Xmas... @QdosPantomimes."
Jessie has also been tweeting about the show, sharing pictures of her costumes with fans.
She added two snaps to her social media page showing her Maid Marion outfits.
She wrote in a caption: "The old maid @mayflower #Robinhood#somuchfun."
It comes after the pair denied they had ever been romantically involved during their 16 years of working together.
During an appearance on Lorraine, Jessie joked: “I wouldn’t touch him with yours!”
The EastEnders star were on the talk show to discuss their forthcoming drama Redwater.
