Tearful Danielle Armstrong hits back at ex-James Lock as they both reveal new relationships on Towie Christmas Special
Reality star had been worried about telling her ex she had a new man in her life
TEARFUL Danielle Armstrong took a swipe at ex-James Lock over his new romance on the Towie Christmas Special.
The reality star had been concerned about telling her former flame she was in a new relationship, having started dating millionaire ex-footballer Daniel Spiller.
But during a chat in a Liverpool nightclub on Sunday night's festive episode, Danielle discovered her ex already knew about her romance, before revealing he was also dating someone.
Initially appearing to take the news well, James said: "To be honest I'm happy you have that kind of respect for me, to come and tell me. Though I had heard it through the grapevine."
The hunk - who was in the city to celebrate his 30th birthday - soon turned bitter though, adding: "I don’t want to have a row with you, but our pact was that we wouldn’t get with people each other knows.
"Two years ago he was texting you, and now you’re dating him. I just feel it’s a bit disrespectful Danielle. I just think its shady on your part."
However Danielle was not standing for his comments, and quickly blasted him over his own behaviour.
Glaring at him, she said: "Coming from a boy who has cheated on my hundreds of time?!
"You know what? Just think about all of what you’ve done to me and try and treat this new girl better."
The beauty then promptly spun round on her high heels and marched out of the venue, leaving the birthday boy stunned in her wake.
Earlier in the episode, Danielle had voiced her concern at telling James about her new man, after they finally called time on their three-year on-off romance in August this year.
Confiding in her friends Georgia Kousoulou and Chloe Sims, she admitted she thought it would be the end of her friendship with her ex when she told him.
She said: "Once I tell James about it I think our friendship will be kind of over. He still thinks I'm his Danielle, I know what he’s like."
After she first approached James at the club, Danielle got emotional as she started her speech, not realising how it would descend into another bitter exchange.
She said: "I don’t wanna hurt you. I know you're probably talking to girls or seeing someone... I just feel like, I feel sad.
"Obviously I feel happy, but I've had all this anxiety."
The reality star's worries are not over, as viewers will see her debating what to do about her future in the second part of the Christmas Special, which airs on Monday night.
Pictures have already revealed Danielle and James once again have a heart to heart at the Christmas party, with the blonde looking tearful as she turns away from her former beau, but can they make amends once and for all?
