KATE Ferdinand broke down in tears in a very emotional video about giving birth.
The 32-year-old has opened up about daughter Shae’s birth for the first time after previously revealing she was born with congenital pneumonia in July.
Giving fans an insight into the difficult time, which meant they had to spent time apart, Kate shared a clip from a longer YouTube video last night showing her crying as she held her baby girl.
Shae was rushed to a special unit shortly after her birth because she wasn’t getting “the right amount of oxygen”.
Katie explains: “I could just tell they thought there was something wrong. She's not taking in the right amount of oxygen so she's gone to the special care unit.”
Her husband Rio, 44, went on to say: “You don't ever think about the negatives, you don't think about what can go wrong, you don't ever come into a hospital thinking that your first night is gonna be your baby alone, on another ward.”

He explained how his kids Lorenz, 16, Tate, 14, and Tia, 11, were desperate to see a picture of their new sibling but he was reluctant to show her getting medical help.
“The kids are saying ‘where's the pictures? send pictures’ they're all excited, but I don't want to send the first picture of the baby with all the wires,” he said.
Kate added: “I'm being really strong, but if I talk about it I will cry because I just want her here now.”
Rio and Kate are parents to son Cree, two, while the former Towie star is also step-mum to Rio’s three kids, who he shares with later wife Rebecca Ellison.
