Apprentice winner Alana Spencer vows to resist temptation to do sexy lingerie shoots like rivals Jessica Cunningham and Frances Bishop
THE battle in the boardroom might be over – but that has not stopped ALAN SUGAR’s latest business partner ALANA SPENCER from getting her claws out.
The baker, who was crowned champ last night, has lashed out at The Apprentice beauties JESSICA CUNNINGHAM and FRANCES BISHOP for stripping for lingerie shoots days after being fired from the BBC show.
Alana, above with Lord Sugar, laid into her fellow contestants for their steamy underwear snaps, insisting she has no intention of ditching her kit.
When asked about their pictures, the Welsh businesswoman said: “Oh God no, I wouldn’t do what they’ve done. I would absolutely not do that.
“The world is not ready to see me in a bikini if I’m honest.
“All it should come down to is work ethic and business plans.
“If women want to look good and feel better by putting on a bit of make-up and wearing nice clothes, then all power to them. But I don’t think looks should have any bearing.”
Alana also spoke out against ex-aide NICK HEWER’s revelation that Apprentice bosses ask Lord Sugar not to fire blonde contestants.
She said: “It’s flattering that people think I’m in there because of looks, but I don’t think it has anything to do with it. It’s down to business plans and how hard you work throughout the tasks.”
Alana has big plans for her wholesale cake company following Lord Sugar’s £250,000 investment — and is even hoping to team up with Great British Bake Off champ CANDICE BROWN.
She said: “Candice and I have been messaging. I’m hoping we’ll meet soon. I’d never say never to working with her.
“She’s given me some advice and said, ‘Don’t take anything to heart that you see on Twitter’. She’s really sweet.”
Despite Alana claiming victory, not all the contestants left empty handed. She said: “Lord Sugar gave COURTNEY WOOD a novelty pen. It’s a ‘you might be hired or you might be fired’ pen.”
Very generous.
Wood like to meet...
APPRENTICE runner-up COURTNEY WOOD says he was living the life of HUGH HEFNER.
The Essex lad claimed he earned the comparison to the legendary playboy – after spending his last two weeks in the mansion in a silk dressing gown surrounded by sexy businesswomen.
Courtney said: “I was wearing a silk dressing gown the whole time – some people compared me to Hugh Hefner. It was great fun, I really enjoyed it.”
He was in a rumoured relationship with JESSICA CUNNINGHAM during his time on the show. But the novelty gift company owner has since said they are “just friends”, adding that he’s single and ready to mingle.
Courtney said: “Me and Jessica got on really well in the house.
“She’s a great laugh and really entertaining. We got on well and we worked together well. Sadly, I don’t think there is anything there. No Apprentice wedding.”
Instead, he is eyeing up HOLLY WILLOUGHBY, saying: “She has the whole package.
“She’s a beautiful woman, great personality, good figure. She’s got it all.”
He’ll be hoping for an invitation to This Morning.
Shine team left open-mouthed
A MUSICAL collaboration between Let It Shine’s judges GARY BARLOW, DANNII MINOGUE and MARTIN KEMP sounds like it can’t go wrong.
But sadly for fans, the quality of the one organised by ALAN CARR on his Chatty Man show wasn’t the best – due to the mouthguards the host made them wear.
The trio appeared on his festive show, being screened on Channel 4 at 10.30pm on Christmas Day, and took part in a skit themed on popular new board game Watch Ya’ Mouth.
Thankfully Gary removed his to answer questions about his new BBC1 Saturday night show, Let It Shine.
I believe it will be one of the biggest telly hits of 2017 after watching a preview last month.
Chatting with Alan, Gary made a revelation about his time on The X Factor, in which he was a judge for three series.
The TAKE THAT star said: “I used to sit in that studio at X Factor and the audience are so loud.
“Sometimes you get to the end of the song and you go, ‘I did not hear any of that’.
“You watch it back later and you think, ‘What was I thinking?’”
Now he runs his own show, rest assured this won’t be the case in Let It Shine.
NO-A.P. in Rockers spin-off
THE OAP anarchy of ITV’s hit prank show Off Their Rockers is getting a makeover.
After four hilarious series, I can reveal producers are recruiting young blood for a new spin-off show – doubling the threat to the public.
CPL Productions is currently searching for kids between the ages of six and ten to star in the hidden camera show.
Until now, Off Their Rockers has only used senior citizens to play its outrageous tricks on unsuspecting members of the public and cause mayhem on the streets of Britain.
After first hitting our screens in April 2013, the show’s mischievous band of pensioners have tried their hand at everything from twerking to Twitter.
They’ve even got celebrities including KATIE PRICE, KYM MARSH, LOUIS WALSH and JOEY ESSEX in on the action – but bosses now feel it is time for a change.
