Adam Thomas and his Emmerdale castmates head out on the town for their Christmas party

The I’m A Celebrity star is still rocking his jungle tan as he joins the cast for a festive night out

ADAM Thomas has gone back to his day job at Emmerdale after returning from the I’m a Celebrity jungle and last night enjoyed some festive fun with the cast.

The actors from the ITV soap were seen out on the town in Leeds where they headed to the swanky Atlas Bar to celebrate Christmas.

Dressed all in black, Adam posed with his arm around his co-star Danny Miller who also appeared to have gotten the all black memo.

The lads were joined by a handful of other cast members, including Amy Walsh who braved the cold with bare legs in a little black dress as she posed next to Michael Charnock who went for a more casual look in a green woolly hat, jeans and a loose shirt and tie.

Isabel Hodgins went hell for leather in a tiny pair of shorts and a leopard print T-shirt, while Gaynor Faye dazzled in a gold bodycon.

Earlier this week, Adam’s castmates were delighted to have him back. In particular, his co-star Danny Miller – who plays Aaron Dingle on the soap – greeted him with a bear hug and looked delighted to see his pal.

In the clip, Danny waits for Adam to arrive and tells the camera that he's "really looking forward" to seeing his mate and can't wait to give him a "cuddle".

The duo greet each other with a massive bear hug and Adam says: "I miss you!"

As they walk around the set of the ITV soap, the cast and crew can be heard cheering for Adam as he returns to work in the Dales.

"I'm so popular at work," he laughed.

Adam also revealed he broke down in tears after every Bushtucker Trial on I'm A Celebrity.

Opening up about his 11 grisly trials on This Morning, the Emmerdale actor spoke about the trauma behind the scenes.

He admitted the ITV reality show was much harder than he anticipated but he was delighted to still be known as 'Mr Bushtucker Trial'.

Adam explained: "After the trials I'd literally break down and cry like a baby because it was just the fear.

"I had never felt fear like it.

"Especially in the first one when I saw all the spiders."

He continued: "What you don't see is that it's like two o'clock in the morning and we'd have been waiting around for hours.

"Even the last one with the spiders and just seeing them there in front of me, it was awful.

"As soon as you walk of the set, literally every emotion comes flooding out.

"I'd be on my knees crying."

He said: "I never thought it would be that tough, if I knew it was going to be that tough I wouldn't have signed up for it.

"You're out of comfort zone, missing home and missing your family, living with a bunch of strangers for three weeks.

"That was the prize for me at the end of it, seeing Teddy in the hotel room, all dressed up in his little Bushtucker Trial outfit."
