Liam Payne gives fans a look inside his and Cheryl’s home as they prepare for the birth of their baby
A gigantic Father Christmas and an open fire - Cheryl and Liam certainly know how to do Christmas
LIAM Payne has given fans peek inside the home he shares with pregnant girlfriend Cheryl as they prepare for the birth of their first child.
Taking to Twitter on Saturday afternoon for an #AskLiam session the singer, 23, revealed he was watching TV and posted a picture of the his lounge.
And judging from the snap of inside their immaculate home Liam and 33-year-old Cheryl are certainly beginning to feel a lot like Christmas.
Standing in the corner of the lounge was a huge Father Christmas carrying a bundle of presents, and by their fireplace were two large toy soldier candle holders.
Their mantelpiece is covered in festive foliage and it looks like they don’t expect their baby to arrive too soon, as they open fire remains unguarded.
Liam’s feet make a guest appearance in the picture, as does his Great Dane Watson who he bought with ex-girlfriend Sophia Smith can be seen by his settee.
Liam and Cheryl are expecting their first child in the upcoming weeks, and while neither has confirmed the news, he did reveal to one fan on Twitter how happy is with life right now.
When one fan asked: “Are you happy honey?”
The soon-to-be-dad replied: “The happiest I could be.”
Liam’s joy comes as reports suggest that he is planning to propose to Cheryl after she gives birth.
The One Direction singer is thought to have been inspired by Kimberley Walsh’s partner Justin who proposed to her in the delivery room.
A source told the Daily Star: “Liam got the idea to propose straight after the birth after finding out that Justin popped the question after the delivery of their first child.
“It’s given Liam so many ideas. There will definitely be wedding bells sooner than we expected.”
Justin popped the question to Cheryl’s best mate and former bandmates Kimberley just moments after she gave birth to their son Bobby.
She told Hello magazine at the time: “I’d just handed Bobby to Justin, so he had our gorgeous newborn son in one arm and I remember Bobby had his eyes open.
“Bobby didn’t take his gaze off me as Justin slipped his other hand into his pocket and suddenly the pair of them were sinking down towards the floor. I said, “What are you doing?”, then Justin pulled out this gorgeous ring.”

The Sun first revealed the then-secret relationship between Cheryl and One Direction star Liam, 23, in February after they caught up on The X Factor last December.
And in June, we were first to report that the pair planned to start a family.
But it was only last week that the loved up couple – who first met when Liam was just 14 – confirmed they were expecting.
Letting actions speak louder than words Cheryl debuted her baby bump in a very public manner at a charity event.
And while she hasn’t spoken about it publicly, she has now told her friends and family about their exciting news.
It's thought the star won't make a formal announcement and is instead pouring her heart out in the recording studio as she continues work on her new album.
A source said: “Cheryl isn’t hiding anything — especially not her bump.
“She is very excited because starting a family is something she’s always wanted.
“But she’s going to do things her way.”
