EastEnders’s Roxy Mitchell asks sister Ronnie to ADOPT daughter Amy and take her to Ongar for good
The troubled Mitchell sister will soon be leaving Walford
ROXY Mitchell has asked sister Ronnie to adopt her daughter Amy.
The troubled former drug addict broke down on Friday night's episode of EastEnders as she begged her sister to give her daughter the stability she needed by adopting her when they move to Ongar.
"I don't want you to just take Amy to Ongar, I want you to adopt her," she told her sister.
"I'm nothing like mum. This isn't me walking away. You think I don't know that? Look, I know this is hard for you to understand but there's this distance between me and Amy and it's only going to get bigger when you move away.
"You had no choice with Danielle, this is my choice and I'm choosing to do the right thing for Amy.
"No matter what I do I can never give her what she needs, even though I want to, I can't. I just can't but you can. The perfect house, the perfect family, the stability...
"Come on Ron, look at the people I've brought into her life. Michael, Carl, Dean... I mean I've put Amy at risk more than once.
"You would never ever do that. Ron, I see you wiht the kids and I know being a mum is what you were made for.
"Mum and dad didn't teach us how to be good parents but you've worked it out, you have. Every mistake you ever made you made for good reason and no-one can ever say that about me.
"I'll still be in Amy's life, I'll still be in your life only this way I can't mess it up anymore."
She added: "Do you think I'd be asking you if I wasn't one hundred percent sure?"
Ronnie agreed to adopting Amy and Roxy broke down in tears as she thanked her before heading out to get a drink at Vincent's bar.
Unfortunately instead of feeling better about the news, she ended up buying drugs and walking through the Square alone.
