Strictly finalists Ore Oduba and Joanne Clifton reveal that showdance will be ‘dangerous’ and include ‘massive props’
STRICTLY Come Dancing finalists Ore Oduba and Joanne Clifton have spoken about what their showdance will entail, promising that it will have us right on the edge of our seats.
The pair were excitedly speaking about their dance on Strictly spin-off It Takes Two.
They will be dancing to jazz classic “I Got Rhythm” by George and Ira Gershwin.
When asked by Zoë Ball to describe their showdance in three words, Ore struggled: "Er, um - 'great' and 'boom' and..."
His partner Joanne decided to take the reins and said simply: "Big massive props."
Zoë oohed as Jo continued: "It's quite dangerous, we could break legs."
Ore made a worried face as Zoë remarked: "'Big massive props' - you don't get tow say that too often!"
Speaking about choreographing the dance, Jo said: "I'm lucky with this one - I'm ballroom showdance and I think that suits him really well.
"It's his style, the whole Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly character and he loves the music and he loves that style which is perfect for me. Because basically you've got to do a showdance around their skills and to show off their strength and his strength is that, luckily for me."

Ore added: "The thing that is great is that we've matched each other every single week... we are the perfect pair. I couldn't think of a more perfect partner to be able to share this dance, to show her strength and show the dance-like style that I would most like to perform. It's perfect."
This weekend will also see Danny Mac and Oti Mabuse perform their favourite dance Magalenha by Sergio Mendes for the second time and their showdance to Set Fire To The Rain by Adele.
Louise Redknapp and Kevin Clifton will be dancing their favourite dance - Argentine Tango - to Tanguera by Sexteto Mayor and their showdance to One Moment In Time by Whitney Houston.
Ore and Joanne, meanwhile, will also be dancing their Jive to Runaway Baby by Bruno Mars.
Currently Danny and Oti are favourites to win at the weekend at 4/5, followed by Louise and Kevin at 11/8 and then Ore and Joanne at 7/1.
This is despite the fact that Danny and Oti landed in the bottom two last week against Claudia Fragapane and her partner AJ Pritchard.
Fans were left infuriated at the result and blamed a technical glitch which stopped some from voting.
