Adam recently revealed he cried after every terrifying Bushtucker Trial

ADAM Thomas has returned to his day job at Emmerdale after his stint on I'm  A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here and it looks like his castmates were delighted to have him back.

In particular, his co-star Danny Miller - who plays Aaron Dingle on the soap - greeted him with a bear hug and looked delighted to see his pal.

In the clip, Danny waits for Adam to arrive and tells the camera that he's "really looking forward" to seeing his mate and can't wait to give him a "cuddle".

The duo greet each other with a massive bear hug and Adam says: "I miss you!"

As they walk around the set of the ITV soap, the cast and crew can be heard cheering for Adam as he returns to work in the Dales.

"I'm so popular at work," he laughed.

Earlier this week, Adam revealed he broke down in tears after every Bushtucker Trial on I'm A Celebrity.

Opening up about his 11 grisly trials on This Morning, the Emmerdale actor spoke about the trauma behind the scenes.

He admitted the ITV reality show was much harder than he anticipated but he was delighted to still be known as 'Mr Bushtucker Trial'.

Adam explained: "After the trials I'd literally break down and cry like a baby because it was just the fear.

"I had never felt fear like it.

"Especially in the first one when I saw all the spiders."

He continued: "What you don't see is that it's like two o'clock in the morning and we'd have been waiting around for hours.

During his time in the jungle, Adam faced his fear of spiders as he tackled 20 of them in the gross Fill Your Face challenge.

Another memorable one was the awful Knickerbocker Gory trial which saw him climb into a tube filled with rotten food, fish guts and thousands of creepie crawlies.

The worst one was arguably the Pick 'N' Critz challenge which saw Adam and campmate Martin Roberts take part in the most vomit-inducing trial of the series.

Adam also opened up about leaving the jungle and said the highlight was seeing his son Teddy - who his fiancee Caroline dressed up in the I'm A Celeb uniform.

He said: "I never thought it would be that tough, if I knew it was going to be that tough I wouldn't have signed up for it.

"That was the prize for me at the end of it, seeing Teddy in the hotel room, all dressed up in his little Bushtucker Trial outfit."

Meanwhile, Adam also revealed he has no recollection of his drunken This Morning interview after leaving I'm A Celebrity.

Adam curled up on the This Morning couch in tears of laughter as Holly and Phillip joked about him being too drunk to remember their interview.

Last week, he appeared alongside Joel Dommett on the show and the pair admitted they’d be called in to do the chat halfway through the ITV show’s wrap party.

Giggling all the way through, Adam admitted to Holly and Phil that seeing his long term partner was the best part of leaving the show, adding: “to see her was unbelievable!”

Without prompting, Adam then shouted: “I wish I had won it!”

Holly and Phil couldn’t stop laughing at Adam’s revelation, with the actor later admitting he’d had a bit to drink.

He said: “You’ve interrupted our big party, we’re halfway through it.

“We’re going out on the lash, I’m halfway there…”

Holly quipped back: “We thought as much,” which caused Adam to start laughing hysterically.

This Morning airs weekdays from 10.30am on ITV.
