Mystery as Katie Price’s company is suddenly shut down with just £1 in the bank ahead of bankruptcy probe
A COMPANY owned by bankrupt Katie Price has been shut down - with just £1 in the bank.
The former glamour model and mum-of-five, 45, was declared bankrupt in November 2019.
Now it appears her financial situation may be set to worsen after her company was closed mysteriously.
Information filed to Companies House show KP Merch Limited was dissolved on September 12, after being struck off a week earlier.
The firm is described as providing: "Retail sale via mail order houses or via internet," and was used to deal with income from the star's make-up masterclasses.
It was run by her pal Jeyda Yilmaz with an address listed in Manchester.

Dormant accounts filed in December 2020 showed a balance of £1.
Katie previously worked with Jeyda, who owns owns the online fashion and accessory firm JYY, on a clothes business.
Despite the company being dissolved, Katie still has two make-up masterclasses advertised for November.
They will be held in Cardiff and Dundee with tickets costing £50 per person.

The company dissolution news came after Katie's bankruptcy hearing was pushed back yet again - with the star's court date now delayed until 2024.
The Sun can reveal she is now due to appear in February next year.
Mum-of-five Katie has failed to keep up with her monthly repayments of £1,200 to clear the hefty sum owed to multiple creditors.
Despite being officially declared bankrupt, she splashed out £1.3m on her Sussex home - dubbed Mucky Mansion - nine years ago.
Katie films much of her OnlyFans content from her property in West Sussex and also featured it in her Channel 4 reality series Katie Price's Mucky Mansion.
The pad is now worth over £2m - with trustees handling her bankruptcy debating whether or not to sell in order to settle the debts.
Yet Katie has remained ever the optimist about her situation.
Last month, the star insisted that she "isn't broke" during a Q&A on a TikTok live with her followers.
She said: "I live in my own £2.2million house, I own it, nobody can ever take it away from me.
"I wouldn't call that broke, would you?"

She later addressed the subject again, saying: "I'm not poor actually, totally the opposite, but thank you."
And in January, she said that being declared bankrupt was "not the end of the world", adding: "Lots of people go into bankruptcies, and I think it's quite good that I am in a bankruptcy - it's made me re-value things."
