As well as all this, there will be spectacular group performances, magical musical moments and a host of other special surprises as the curtain comes down on another memorable series of dancefloor drama.

Last Sunday the show said goodbye to Claudia  Fragapane, who was left in tears after becoming the twelfth contestant to leave Strictly Come Dancing, narrowly missing out on this week's final.

The Olympic gymnast  and her professional partner AJ Pritchard faced actor Danny Mac and his partner Oti Mabuse in the dreaded dance-off but the judges voted unanimously for her to leave the BBC show.

Talking to Tess about her Strictly experience Claudia said: “I can’t believe I made it this far to be honest.

"Everyone is so lovely and I’m just so happy that I’ve made it this far and everyone has just been incredible people, and to come out and not be as confident as I was, I feel like a different person now, all thanks to this show.”

When Tess asked if she had any words for her professional partner AJ, Claudia added: “Oh you have been absolutely amazing, you really have pushed me to the best of my ability.

"You have been so lovely to me and you’ve really boosted my confidence and it’s all thanks to you.”

AJ then gushed about Claudia and said: “I’m just so proud of her, so proud of how far you’ve come and just how confident you are now. Thank you.”

Strictly Come Dancing – The Final will be live on Saturday 17th December at 6:40pm on BBC One.
