Jack Whitehall and Roxy Horner’s sweet name for daughter revealed two weeks after baby’s birth
JACK Whitehall and Roxy Horner have decided on a cute name for their baby – Elsie.
Loved-up Jack and Roxy proudly told family and friends what they had chosen for the firstborn after previously joking about calling her Mambo No5.
The couple took their time settling on the name, which means "pledged to God".
Elsie, a name of Scottish origin, took a dip in the popularity stakes for decades but has been on the rise in recent years.
A source told The Sun yesterday: "Elsie is a gorgeous baby and Jack and Roxy have picked a gorgeous name to fit. Everyone is thrilled."
Comic Jack previously teased fans over his daughter’s name – hilariously ruling out one name for his newborn child.

The Sun revealed earlier this month how the superstar stand-up and his model partner Roxy welcomed their new bundle of joy into the world.
The 35-year-old also shared on social media: "Well this just happened!
"Utterly overwhelming and joyous in ways I couldn’t have even imagined. In awe of my partner roxyhorner who has been amazing throughout this journey and is going to be the greatest mum ever."
Arsenal fan Jack did not reveal his daughter's name, but joked he could be inspired by new Gunners favourite, Declan Rice.

He said: "Name wise after this weekend I think ‘rice, rice, baby’ has a nice ring to it."
Roxy told Steph's Packed Lunch in June that the two were expecting a daughter.
She said: "We are having a little girl. We have thought of some names but I feel like there are none that are really sticking out."
Jack also said in an interview: "We've started to think a little bit about baby names but it's early days.
"My missus is named Roxanne after her dad's favourite song and she said we should maybe go down that route with our child.
"But I was like, 'I don't think we can call our kid Mambo No5'. Although that song does have quite a lot of names in it so there's a few to choose from if we did want to use it as inspiration."
Jack said fatherhood will force him to change the direction of his comedy.
He said: "It's all feeling terrifyingly grown up.
"It feels like a moment where I'm maybe transitioning into being a different type of comic and doing different types of routines.
"It will be the last hurrah for a load of anecdotes about drunken hijinks and being an idiot.
"Those always have a little bit of a shelf life as a comedian.

"There's a couple in the show but if I'm still doing them in five years' time it will be pretty tragic so I'm going to try to get them out of my system.
"I guess it is just dad jokes now forever more.”
