Katie Price hits back at critics who accused her of parking in a disabled bay with video proving her innocence
TV star has shared a clip which shows her pink Range Rover correctly parked
KATIE Price has waded into a parking row by sharing a video which appears to prove her innocence amid claims she left her car in a disabled bay.
The TV star was recently accused of misusing her son Harvey's blue badge, and now she has filmed a clip showing some correct parking.
Katie filmed her pink Range Rover parked outside a hair salon close to her home in Horsham, Sussex.
It was parked next to a disabled bay, but was clearly in the neighbouring space which did not have the same restrictions.
She declared that she had been accused of previously parking in a disabled spot, and insisted she had not broken the rules.
Katie posted the video on Twitter with the caption: "Just like to confirm that the papers said I was in disabled spot well I just filmed the spot to prove again they were wrong AGAIN."
In the clip, Katie said: "I can confirm that the paper got it wrong the other week when they said I was in a disabled spot...
"Because I was actually parked here in this spot, here, and they’ve said it was disabled [pans to parking sign] there’s no disabled sign, absolutely nowhere.
"They got it wrong again and even if I come near where my car is parked, it’s still not disabled. Exactly."
It comes after Katie was accused of misusing Harvey's disabled parking badge while leaving her car at the same location.
Katie was pictured having the badge on display even though Harvey was not with her at the time.
The parking rules state that Katie must be travelling with her 14-year-old son to use the blue badge and reportedly risked a £1,000 fine for using the permit.
Harvey suffers from Prader-Willi syndrome, autism and partial blindness.
