This Morning’s Holly Willoughby becomes chocolate eating champ as she beats Phillip Schofield in hilarious after dinner mint-eating race
The pair were left looking ridiculous as they tried to move the treat from their foreheads to their mouths in record time
PHILLIP Schofield and Holly Willoughby went head-to-head on This Morning on Wednesday – by taking part in the ludicrously funny after eight challenge.
The pair – who were wearing suitably festive personal Christmas jumpers – got into the festive spirit by taking part in the funny parlour game.
They were told to balance the mint thing chocolate on their hands and find a way to get it to their mouths without using their hands.
completed the challenge with next to no effort at all, and looked smug as Phillip got it caught around his eye.
Praising her win, Holly appeared to make a jokey dig at her pal as she announced: “No botox here!” while Phillip was still nowhere near close.
Refusing to give up, didn’t sound too pleased when he asked her: “You’ve done it already, haven’t you?”
Holly was all too eager to chow down the chocolate and replied with a simple ‘Yup!’ before sitting back and watching Phillip’s struggle.
She then proudly announced: “That’s the fastest I’ve ever done it!”
Phillip was clearly impressed with her efforts and admitted: “That’s the fastest I’ve ever seen it done!”
The pre-recorded segment is part of an ongoing series leading up to Christmas which will see the daytime TV duo compete in a series of family games.

However, unfortunately the show wasn’t always so full of festive cheer – and Holly was forced to jump to the defence of Melinda Messenger on the show after she was accused of ‘scare-mongering’ those unsure about taking the HPV vaccination.
After the 45-year-old revealed her daughter Evie, 13 would not be getting jab because of her concerns about the link between it and a range of illness, Dr Chris blasted: “What upsets me, Melinda, is that you’ve done this in the public domain.
“You could have done this privately. This will affect people.”
Holly quickly interject saying: “She’s allowed to have an opinion. I can understand where she’s coming from.”
Melinda, who has sons Morgan, 16, and Flynn, 14, as well as daughter Evie, told the group: “I had an uneasy feeling. It’s a brand new vaccine - I really don't know anything about it.
"If I'm going to inject my daughter with it, a drug, I do at least need to know what I’m injecting her with, what the potential side effects might be, and if it’s right for her. I did some research, and it caused some alarm bells to ring.”
Catch This Morning, weekdays at 10.30am on ITV1.
