The host tried to stand up to Chaser Anne Hegerty but she was having none of it

THE Chase had a rebel in their midst last night when Anne Hegerty AKA The Governess got caught breaking the rules.

As contestant Jan stood with Bradley Walsh he asked a rather rude question.

The Chase’s Governess tried to cheat on a question and refused to back down

It read: “Who became the governor of Idaho in 2007?”

And the answers raised a few laughs, as they included: Butch Otter, Study Muskrat and Gritty Beaver.

As Jan and Bradley had a giggle over the options, The Governess selected her answer.

“You’re not allowed to press until I’ve said the last thing!” Bradley told her.

Anne jumped to her own defence, retorting: “You weren’t going to say it.”

“It doesn’t matter, it’s against the rules,” said Bradley. “You’re not allowed to do that.”
