An onlooker said: “He kept a low profile and went mostly unrecognised. He was swimming laps and practising his diving.”

Harry, 29, is on a break in the capital after wrapping up his global Love On Tour shows.

Harry, now dating Canadian actress Taylor Russell, 29, has said: “I feel like people who’ve discovered cold-water swimming are just so happy for you that you’ve also found it.”

Temperatures will return to the monthly average of 17C (62.6F) by midweek.

Forecaster Stephen Dixon said: “There’s a chance above-average temperatures return by late September. It’s certainly looking likely.”
