Rylan Clark takes cryptic swipe at former This Morning co-star Phillip Schofield with telltale comment
RYLAN Clark makes a thinly veiled dig at Phillip Schofield about his approach to fame.
The presenter, who was thrust into the spotlight after appearing on the X Factor in 2012, has kept tight-lipped about Phillip's departure from ITV.
The TV veteran stepped down from his 20-year position on This Morning's sofa after it was revealed that he'd had an affair with a "much younger" staff member.
Speaking to The Telegraph, Rylan said he has one rule when it comes to working in showbiz: "The only time I get involved with something like that is when my name is involved."
His motto is simple: "Work hard, be decent to everybody and be nice to everyone on the way up, because everyone has a fall."
Shortly after the news about Phillip broke, which he'd previously denied, a large number of This Morning staff raised claims of "toxic working cultures"

Phillip said that he was "deeply sorry" for the affair, which he said was "unwise but not illegal".
The 61-year-old's replacement hasn't been chosen yet, with the MailOnline revealing that a decision wouldn't be made this year.
Instead, Holly Willoughby has been joined by a roster of presenters including Alison Hammond, Josie Gibson, Dermot O'Leary and Craig O'Doyle.
Fans suspected that Rylan would be the new permanent fixture after he posted a cryptic post just minutes after the news that Phillip was leaving the show.
