Jack Whitehall shares first snap of newborn in hospital with new mum Roxy Horner – as he hints at baby’s name
JACK Whitehall has shared the very first snaps of his newborn baby in the hospital, while hinting at her name.
Comedian Jack, 35, was pictured leaving the exclusive Lindo Wing at St Mary's in London last night with his girlfriend Roxy Horner, 32.
Taking to Instagram today, he made his own announcement along with some special photos from the milestone day.
He wrote in his caption, "Well this just happened! Utterly overwhelming and joyous in ways I couldn’t have even imagined.
"In awe of my partner @roxyhorner who has been amazing throughout this journey and is going to be the greatest mum ever. So excited to have started a family of my own.
"Having vowed I’d never be that guy I am now 100% going to be the parent that shows everyone endless pictures of their kid. I also wore skechers to hospital, I think I must accept I am a full blown dad now.

"Name wise after this weekend I think ‘rice, rice, baby’ has a nice ring to it."
The Essex-born beauty struggled during her pregnancy, particularly in the third trimester. She was forced to use crutches at times due to symphysis pubis dysfunction (SPD) and the pelvic pain it caused her.
The common condition sees sufferers experience stiffness in their joints and a reduced range of movement.
Roxy explained on social media: "Thank god for my mumma looking after me during this final trimester. I actually don't know what I would have done without her.
"Getting everything baby ready with SPD has not been easy but my mumma has really helped me get things organised this last week and I'm starting to feel a bit more at ease with that.
"Just can't wait to have baby girl here and not feel this way anymore, it really is excruciating to walk or move right but not long to go and apparently all symptoms of SPD go away once bubba arrives."
Popular funnyman Jack has spoken openly about his nerves at being a first time dad in a series of recent interviews.
On Good Morning Britain last month, he admitted: "I don't really know, I am not feeling prepared yet."
The TV star previously chatted to Amanda Holden and Jamie Theakston on Heart Radio and said: "My girlfriend is pregnant.
"(I'm) terrified. Absolutely terrified.
"But, very very excited as well. And yeah, I need to do some growing up! Very quickly!"
Jack and Roxy announced they were expecting on Instagram in May, sharing a black and white snap of their scan pictures.
The couple met while Jack was on a trip to Australia in 2020 and they ended up isolating together in London during the coronavirus pandemic.
Roxy, who was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in 2001, has praised Jack for his support as she adapted to live with the condition.

She told "My boyfriend has been incredible. I am so lucky in that respect. I’ve quietly decided to spend less time with the people who haven’t understood. I’m really listening to my body and hoping by next year I’ll be able to get back to my normal self again.
"I know I will always have diabetes with me and that occasionally I’ll have to take time out but that’s okay. Right now, I’m taking baby steps. I’m trying to get back my peace, surround myself with loving, understanding people and just getting the hang of this."
