The scenes that mum-of-one Helen are filming now are set to air in February 2017.

Talking about her return, Helen said: “I’m so excited to be returning to Coronation Streetand being part of the Webster family again.”

Helen went from 10-year-old child actor to one of the country’s biggest soap stars during her first stint on the show.

Since stepping out of the spotlight, former glamour girl Helen has transformed from busty blonde to demure mum while focusing on her family with boyfriend Scott Sinclair.

One person more excited than anyone about Helen's return is her on screen sister Brooke Vincent.
The brunette recently told Lorraine: “I want Rosie back.

“My years working with her were the best – we need to get her back!”

Discussing how their on-screen parents, Michael Le Vell and Sally Metcalfe, enjoyed the duo, Brooke added: “Michael used to tear his hair out with us and Sally was quite chilled.”

Helen has made no secret of her desire to return – but has held off due to daughter Matilda.

Earlier this year, the star told The Sun: “I would absolutely love to go back to Coronation Street one day but it would have to work around Matilda.”

Helen’s character Rosie left Weatherfield to star in a reality television show.

Although she hasn’t returned since, viewers have seen mum Sally head off to visit her on numerous occasions.

An ITV spokesperson says: “Storyline details are being kept under wraps but one thing is certain – Rosie’s visit to see her family won’t be uneventful.”

Helen will be back on the street from February until Spring.
