Holly Willoughby refuses to discuss her diet in case it sparks ‘eating disorders’ amongst fans
This Morning presenter admits to being worried that fans might become 'fixated' on her daily nutrition
HOLLY Willoughby refuses to speak about her daily diet and exercise routine as she is worried that she might spark eating disorders amongst her fans.
The mum-of-three shared her concerns in a new interview with , where she was quick to state that she tries to focus on the bigger picture.
She explained: "I don't want to encourage eating disorders. I try not to focus too much on my appearance.
"As long as I'm being healthy, that's good enough for me.
"I'm quite active and I try not to let the way I look be the main focus because it's not the important thing."
Holly, who is regarded as one of Britain's sexiest women, is famed for her natural hourglass figure.
Each morning while presenting This Morning, viewers tweet their appreciation for her figure, and she even tells fans where her outfits are from so that they can shop her girl next door look.
But behind the smiles and high street separates is a sad realisation that she can never be truly open with her fans.
She added: "I actually avoid talking about my diet and exercise regime because I have interviewed so many people affected by eating disorders and I know that some people in chat rooms can really fixate on other people's diets.
"I just can't contribute to that."
Holly is always on hand to tuck in to whatever is the dish of the day on the ITV daytime show, and it seems she's a dab hand in her own kitchen, too.

She told the mag: "I'm healthy; I love food - it's a celebration, something to be talked over, shopped for, cooked and enjoyed. I love cooking.
"Nothing fancy - just standard home-made stuff. I make a very good spaghetti."
