HONEY G cannot win the Christmas number one with her debut single.
There had been some speculation that the middle class rapper's surprise single release would mean she could deprive X Factor winner Matt Terry of the chance to win Christmas number one, but it is not so.

Last night the controversial Harrow rap wannabe re-enacted a medley of songs from her X Factor performances and a shoved a snippet of her new single in there for good measure.

But it wasn't just the 'insulting' nature of a middle-class IT recruitment consultant getting to perform her new music on the show before a winner had been announced that had people at home rubbing their eyes in disbelief.
At the end of her surprise solo performance, she tried to pull of a tried and tested 'mic drop' as she tried her best to convince people at home that soon her lyrical prowess would see her be famous outside of her North Weezy stomping ground.
However, it was a rather lacklustre attempt, causing one viewer to simply tweet: "Jesus wept."
The essence of a mic drops - used by rappers to signify triumph - was totally diluted in Honey's limp gesture.
Minutes before it was a different story as she bounced onto the stage in her trademark tracksuit and big black sunglasses.
This time they had been customised with LED lights that flashed ‘HONEY G’ across them as she danced around the stage having the time of her life.

And she even got host Dermot O’Leary and the four judges in on the act as they also donned pairs of the shades as they danced along.
Honey’s medley included Will Smith’s Men In Black and Kris Kross’s Jump, two songs she had performed during this series – and which got her through until she was voted off in the eighth week.

And she had the audience and judges on their feet as she was joined by backing dancers for the dazzling, high-energy routine.
After her performance, she chatted to Dermot, who said: “North Weezy just shut it down in Wembley, Honey! How did that feel?”

She replied: “It felt wicked. Just want to plug my single that’s coming out on the 23rd of December, called The Honey G Show.
“Everyone who’s locked in, we’re gonna rip it up, tear it up, this is the Honey G official takeover. That was a sneak preview of my upcoming single in my medley. Everyone’s got to go out and buy it and support the single.
“Honey G’s taking over, it’s Honey G time!”

Despite being axed two weeks ago, the 36-year-old was still allowed to perform at Wembley to unveil her single The Honey G Show which she will be releasing through Simon Cowell’s label Syco on December 23rd.

Despite her energetic performance, viewers were outraged that the rapper whose real name is Anna Georgette Gilford not only was allowed to perform at the final but also that she is the first contestant to release a solo track in the series that took part in.
One stated: “It's absolutely disgusting that #honeyg was allowed to perform on the #xfactorfinal AND have a single before the winner even does #XFactor”

And another asked: “How is #honeyg allowed to release a single against the winner? It hows they aren't committed to this year’s winner #XFACTOR #xfactorfinal”
Reality star Cally Jane Beech declared there was favouritism going on, tweeting: “Favouritism much? #xfactor #honeyg unfair to the other artists if u ask me”
While another wondering why she was so “special”: “So how the hell did they work that one out? Let Honey G perform? What makes her so special? #XFactorFinal”

Another viewer accused the show of being “disrespectful” for allowing her to perform after Louis Tomlinson’s emotional tribute to his mother Johannah Deakin who passed away on Wednesday, posting: “As soon as Louis walked off they started promoting Honey G... I mean cmon, Have some respect for him💔 #ProudOfLouis”
