This year’s most memorable auditionees take to the stage for medley performance during The X Factor final
The likes of Bratavio and 'Scottish Simon Cowell' returned for the eye-popping performance
IN another classic X Factor moment, this year's most memorable auditionees took to the stage for a medley performance during the final.
The likes of Bratavio and father-daughter duo Stefan, 46, and Kayleigh, 19, put on quite the show in the Wembley arena singing Starships's Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now.
Viewers at home were loving the annual segment which sees some of the more memorable wannabes get another chance to perform centre stage.
Many took to Twitter to say they enjoyed it while others thought it was "embarrassing".
One wrote: "This is so cringe but it's hilarious! #Xfactorfinal."
Another said: "Car crash moment there! #xfactorfinal #loveanoveltyact #mustbealmostxmas."
Earlier in the night, Australian pop queen Kylie Minogue opened the show with a stunning version of Everybody's Free.
She kicked off her performance suspended on a giant bow suspended above the audience before being lowered onto the stage to end the song with finalists Matt and Saara.
And it's safe to say viewers were thrilled with her performance on the show.
"Who cares who's gonna win GO KYLIE YAY! #xfactor," wrote one fan while others continued the gushing.
"Kylie has to win," added another while a third said: "I'd sooner perform with Kylie than actually win the record contract, tbqh."
With the Aussie superstar setting the bar high for the evening ahead, the finalists more than lived up to it.
Matt Terry's version of Sam Smith's Writing's On the Wall was well-received while the judges gushed over Saara Aalto's Bjork cover.
Nicole Scherzinger later broke down in tears over Matt's performance.
