Stephanie Davis ‘in talks to return to Celebrity Big Brother WITH her newborn baby’ in January
The ex-Hollyoaks actress has become a genuine CBB legend after her eventful three weeks on show
CELEBRITY Big Brother bosses are trying to pull off a show first – by getting a newborn child in the house.
Former contestant Stephanie Davis has been asked to enter Channel 5’s upcoming Gold Stars V All Stars series for three days in January along with her baby, which is she is due to give birth to in the New Year.
Steph, 23, fell pregnant earlier this year after striking up a romance with Irish model Jeremy McConnell on January’s Celebrity Big Brother.
CBB bosses believe it would be fitting for Steph to return to the show with her baby after meeting Jeremy on the show.
A source revealed: “Big Brother producers have asked Steph to go on the series in January for three days with her baby.
“They think it would make a great story as if the baby definitely is Jeremy’s then it is all a result of their appearance on CBB last year.
“Steph has told them she would love to do it but discussions are ongoing.
“It is just a matter of working out logistics and whether they can make it work.”
Channel 5 has confirmed that the new series of Celebrity Big Brother will kick off on Tuesday January 3.
The series is expected to be a Gold Stars vs All Stars series, featuring former contestants and a group of new celebrities.
Towie star Danielle Armstrong, glamour model Nicola McClean, Bianca Gascoigne, Blue singer Lee Ryan, ex CBB star Lauren Harries are all likely to be housemates.
Stephanie has banned ex Jeremy from the birth of their son.
The former Hollyoaks actress recently said: “He doesn’t deserve to be there. I don’t think he wants to be there either.”
When asked if she was sad he wouldn’t be in the labour ward, Steph said: “No, I’m not really bothered about him anymore. I don’t think he ever loved me, because you don’t lie to or abandon someone you love.
“A baby doesn’t fix a toxic relationship, but if he hadn’t lied and cheated, it wouldn’t have been toxic. He also shouldn’t have decided he wanted a child.”
The 23-year-old has also said her baby will have her surname, Davis.
Tonight Steph told fans that she had declined the offer so she could focus on her son.
She tweeted: "Come on now.. I will not be taking part in CBB 2017. It was lovely to be asked but my priorities are my son and being an amazing mummy xx."
Fingers crossed she’s changed her mind by the time the summer series rolls around.
Channel 5 declined to comment.
