Rylan Clark gives update on mum Linda’s condition after horror fall leaves her needing surgery
RYLAN Clark has updated fans on his mum Linda's condition after she suffered a nasty fall on holiday.
The popular presenter, 34, revealed earlier today how his beloved mum, 71, needed surgery after the "bad fall".
He described Celebrity Gogglebox star Linda as "not in the best of health" and said her other conditions had complicated the matter.
Sharing a picture of his mum's hand on Instagram, he wrote: "Mum is out of surgery. All went well. Asked me if she can still have a new driveway…. She’s deffo come round. Thanks for all your lovely messages x."
The positive news was met with relief by concerned friends and fans.
Denise Van Outen commented: "Sending so much love."

Rylan was supposed to be on the radio tomorrow Saturday afternoon at 3pm but said Scott Mills will replace him on BBC Radio 2.
He said: "So unfortunately I took my mum away on her first holiday in a good few years and sadly she's had quite a bad fall, resulting in her having to have surgery out here.

"She's not in the best health with her other conditions and this has made it more complicated.
"My priority at the moment is my mum.
"Cheers scott for covering me at radio 2 and Thanks to the people out here that have sent their well wishes.
"Praying for a successful surgery and a quick recovery. Will update you on mummy. Linda as and when I can x."
Last year Rylan spoke to Fearne Cotton's Happy Place podcast about Linda's struggle with Crohn's disease.
She was previously forced to take time off from Gogglebox due to a flare up of the incurable condition.
Speaking about his bond with his mum, he said: "I cannot imagine my life without her. I mean she has gone through quite a lot with her health, she has got Crohn's disease.
"She is on a drip feed now like pretty much 24/7 whenever she can get on it.
"I will do anything for my mum. Like, she will not listen.

"Gogglebox is the easiest thing I have ever done because I literally sit on my kitchen sofa and they go, 'right here we go' and I don't have to say a word.
"It is the easiest money I've ever made in my life because I press one button and she's off. And she literally has no idea."
