Kate’s appearance on the show set Twitter alight, with fans overjoyed to see her back on their screens after she decided to take a break from Gogglebox in November.

Her trip to Lapland with the children was particularly heart-warming and fans praised her presenting skills.

wasn’t alone on the annual trip to Lapland however and introduced some of the people who help make it possible each year.

She said: “On our trip, many of the children need constant medical attention and Michael is one paramedic’s who’s volunteered to help…”

One of the children she met on the trip was a young girl called Molly who was battling Leukaemia.

She was just one of the group who'd been taken on the magical trip to meet Santa Claus at his home.

Responding to a Twitter user who asked why she’d not been seen recently, Kate replied: “Hi, our daughter has her GCSES so we needed a break from the cameras.”

The star appears alongside her husband Graham, who teaches violin to primary school children, and has become well liked on the show.

It’s hoped Kate and Graham will return to the show in the New Year.
