IF THE first Fifty Shades film got you a little hot under the collar, the sequel might just send you rushing for a cold shower.
The trailer and teaser clips have got temperatures soaring ahead of the release of Fifty Shades Darker.
The film premiered in London on Feburary 9, however the red carpet event was thwarted by protesters.
What’s the plot of Fifty Shades Darker?
The story picks up at the end of Fifty Shades of Grey, which saw sexually inexperienced Anastasia walk away from billionaire and BDSM loving boyfriend Christian Grey.
As Ana attempts to leave her love behind, he continues to pursue her until he wins her back.
The cracks in their relationship really begin to show in Fifty Shades Darker, as Mr Grey battles with his jealousy when another man shows an interest in Ana.
To make matters even more awkward, Anastasia meets Elena Lincoln, the very woman who opened Christian’s eyes to the world of kink.
In a Sun exclusive, we revealed that the duo get down and dirty within the first sixteen minutes of the movie starting.
When is Fifty Shades Darker out and is there a trailer?
The new film, which again is based on a novel by E.L. James, is set for release on Valentine’s Day.
As Fifty Shades of Grey was launched at around the same time in 2015, making an impressive £433million worldwide at the box office, the movie moguls are aiming to achieve similar success.
The full, 2-minute trailer shows Christian undressing Anastasia as she tells him: “This time, no rules, no punishments and no more secrets.”
Who is in Fifty Shades Darker?
Returning cast-members Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson play the two leading characters Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele.
The Newsroom actress Marcia Gay Harden is making another appearance as Christian Grey’s mum, as well as Rita Ora and Luke Grimes, who play his siblings Mia and Elliot.
Max Martini will be returning as Christian’s bodyguard and Victor Razuk and Eloise Mumford resume their roles as Ana’s friends.
Hannibal actor Hugh Dancy will play Mr Grey’s psychiatrist and Smallville actor Eric Johnson and Teen Wolf heartthrob Tyler Hoechlin are also set to join the cast.
Rita Ora makes an appearance as Christian's sister Mia, but is only in a 'blink and you'll miss it' capacity.
She was mocked for having just four lines in the first movie. She told fans her role would grow, yet is seen in only five scenes.
Who's on the Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack?
I Don’t Wanna Live Forever - the collaboration between Zayn Malik and Taylor Swift - is the leading song on the Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack. .
Nick Jonas & Nicki Minaj have also collaborated, on a track called Bom Bidi Bom, and there are contributions from the likes of Sia and John Legend.
