Kanye West pictured with blonde hair for the first time since hospitalisation for mental breakdown
Rapper has been keeping a low profile since returning home at the end of November
KANYE West has been pictured for the first time since returning home from hospital after his mental breakdown.
The Yeezus singer was admitted on November 21 with sleep deprivation and exhaustion, and was released last week.
Kanye had kept a low profile since being leaving the medical facility but on Thursday, the 39-year-old was seen visiting the “Rick Owens: Furniture” exhibition at the MOCA Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood.
Italian artist Giovanni Leonardo Bassan shared a photo of the rapper on Instagram soon after, revealing his newly dyed blonde hair.
Sitting on a marble chair, Kanye wore black skinny jeans and an oversized grey jumper as he looked off to the side of the camera with a relaxed look on his face.
Kanye's appearance comes after it was reported he had started working on new music in the wake of his recent health woes.
According to , the star has been "more relaxed and focused" since returning home, and has even built a temporary studio in his huge mansion to recover and work in privacy.
Sources reportedly claimed to the site that Kanye has compared the recent scare to losing his beloved mum, as well as his horrific car crash, and he allegedly "created some of his best work after those crises."
The Sun Online has contacted Kanye's reps for comment.

However, Kim's BFF Jonathan Cheban has since slammed the rumours, branding them "funny".
The star, who previously appeared on Celebrity Big Brother, insisted he wasn't aware of any split rumours, and he'd just spoken to the couple himself moments before.
According to , a friend to the Kardashians claimed: “It will take some time before she can do anything. She doesn’t want to stay married.”
The insider added that Kim won’t make any decisions until Kanye is fully recovered, stating: “She’s being a supportive wife. She cares about Kanye and feels relieved he’s getting the help he needs but she’s felt trapped for a while.”
Now, Jonathan has hit back at the claims, and told the : "It's kinda funny to me," before adding: "I didn't know there was rumours about it."
Jonathan went on: "I didn't hear any rumours today, 'cause I've been busy today, but it's - I mean, I just literally got off the phone with them."
He then clarified he had been on Facetime with the couple, who are currently taking time out from the limelight following Kanye's hospitalisation in November because of a mental breakdown.
Kim has been married twice before after she eloped with music producer Damon Thomas in 2000 at the age of 19.
However, the marriage was over two years later and Thomas filed for divorce. Kim went on to claim the pair seperated due to emotional and physical abuse in the relationship.
Kim then married basketball star Kris Humphries in August 2011 but the marriage famously last for only 72 days.
