Heartbroken Helen Flanagan reveals real reason behind split from Scott Sinclair after 13 years together

HELEN Flanagan has revealed the real reason behind her split from fiancé Scott Sinclair.

The Sun told in October last year how Helen, 33, and footballer Scott, 34, had called time on their relationship.

Now actress Helen has spoken out about the heartbreaking decision to walk away from her relationship after 13 years.

In a new TikTok video titled "dating as a single mum", the former Coronation Street star said: "I was with my ex forever.

"I was with my ex from 19 until 31, and he was like my one.

"I remember when we first got together, I was so in love with him. He was the best thing that ever happened to me really because he was my life.

"We had a really nice relationship, it was really special. We were just meant to be and obviously we had three children together."

"[But] towards the end we just grew apart."

Shortly after Helen confirmed her split from Scott, The Sun revealed another spooky reason for the break-up.

A well-placed source at the time said: "Helen's engagement ring snapped earlier this year.

"She's into all things spiritual and had a feeling so she sought guidance from a psychic medium.

"Helen and Scott really tried to work on their relationship but ultimately she saw the ring breaking as a bad omen and one that meant she shouldn't get married."

Helen, who shares Matilda, seven, Delilah, five, and two-year-old Charlie with Scott, is back on the dating scene and she told fans she's joined celebrity dating app Raya, after The Sun revealed the news in February.

She said: "I am signed up to a dating app, I don’t know if I can actually say what the dating app is or not, but – this sounds so cringe – it’s like a celebrity dating app in a way.”
