I’M A CELEBRITY winner Scarlett Moffatt’s Gogglebox star dad has revealed he felt left out when his daughter turned to Larry Lamb for comfort, when she got upset in the jungle.

During a special edition of the show, Mark Moffatt’s comments came as he talked about Scarlett getting emotional during her time on the show,.

She broke down while the former Gavin and Stacey star was president, revealing jungle life was getting too much for her, and sat on his lap and had a cry.

Scarlett got emotional during her time in the camp

Despite going on to win the show, the reality star was in tears and it was up to the camp’s father figure to come to her rescue.

Reflecting on the scenes during the Coming Out spin-off show, Mark joked that he was a little bit annoyed – saying Larry was making his role “redundant”.

He said: “When she sat on his knee and give her a cuddle, I thought ‘he’s making me redundant here!’.

While mum Betty added: “I think she is doing well already.”

Scarlett landed back in her home town of Newcastle yesterday after being crowned Queen of the Jungle on Sunday.
