Tim and his bandmates Steve Hewitt, Simon Rowbottom, Martin Carr, Rob Harrison and Rob Cieka rose to fame in the 1990s.

They were among the first in the Britpop movement to form in the late 80s, before hitting the big time in 1995 with their hit single Wake Up Boo!

Their number one album Wake Up! followed, later releasing albums Help, C'mon Kids, Kingsize and Find the way Out.

After just a few years together, the band called it quits in 1999.

He was later was hired as an IT teacher at St Louis Grammar School in Kilkeel, Northern Ireland.

He's been teaching at the school for an impressive 19 years.

In 2020, he briefly returned to the stage after it was announced The Boo Radleys would record music to mark their 25 year anniversary.

They released their first single in 23 years in July 2021, titled A Full Syringe and Memories of You.

The band now consists of Tim, Simon Rowbottom and Rob Cieka.

This week, Tim and the band will come back together to play their new music at Limelight in Belfast.

His fellow teacher told the BBC: "I have seen him on a few work nights out though so there's maybe two Mr Browns - the school Mr Brown and the rock star Mr Brown."
