Nicole Scherzinger to sing a duet with Cruz after being approached by Victoria Beckham
The Beckham poshy parents saga just got even more bonkers
THE row over David and Victoria Beckham “pimping out” son Cruz took another twist yesterday — with Nicole Scherzinger revealing Posh has asked her to duet with the 11-year-old.
The Beckhams were accused of “selling their soul” by telly host Piers Morgan this week after schoolboy Cruz released his debut single, If Every Day Was Christmas.
But former Pussycat Doll Nicole, 38, said she had spoken to Victoria about a possible follow-up and thinks a duet would be “cool”.
In an interview in Bromley for X Factor finalist Matt Terry’s homecoming, she said: “Victoria was just telling me about her son the other day. He’s just doing it all himself and she’s supporting him.
“I mean I would do a duet, she seems keen. But what, he’s how old? He’s like one year old. It would be cool. Yeah, I can do a duet with him. Maybe that will be my next thing.”
Factor hopeful Matt, 23, also backed Cruz’s singing career. He said: “If I was 11 and I had the chance, I’d do it.”
But their support for the youngest Beckham boy comes after his parents were blasted by Piers Morgan.
He said the former Spice Girl and England football legend had “sold their souls to the commercial devil”.
He added: “Even by their standards, pimping out their 11-year-old son out to the pop world is a new low.”
Morgan’s stance was backed on social media with Man London Magazine calling it “sickening exploitation of their son”.
Simon Noble tweeted: “Go back to school Cruz Beckham and stay there.
Another user added: “Ridiculous to introduce such a young boy into pop world.”
