LOVE Island star Jess Hayes has revealed her heartache after the death of her pet cat.
The reality star, who found fame in season one of the ITV show, shared an emotional tribute on Instagram last night announcing the loss of the family pet.
Alongside a collection of clips of her cat, Jess, 30, wrote: "Devastated. Nothing beats the love a girl has for her first cat.
You were there through everything. The most loving, beautiful girl.
I will miss you forever my princess girl."
She faced further devastation when she tried to break the news to her four-year-old son Presley.
"I haven't had the heart to tell him yet," Jess wrote. "I mentioned heaven earlier that she might have to go and his little heart broke and he cried and then it broke my heart even more. So hard when they love them so much.
"I don't think I've ever cried so much so much ever. She was a special one."
