Hollyoaks spoilers: Celine McQueen’s body found as Mercedes leads family at murdered nurses funeral
The nurse was murdered by Cameron after he realised she would one day tell all about him
THE McQueens are in mourning in Hollyoaks after the brutal murder of Celine.
The nurse was killed off after murderous Cameron Campbell decided she knew too much of his shameful secrets and strangled her to stop her from revealing the truth.
Now filming pictures have revealed that Celine's body will be found.
In the images the McQueen family can be seen coming together for the funeral as they mourn their favourite cousin.
Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe), John Paul McQueen (James Sutton) and Holly McQueen (Amanda Clapham) led the procession.
Nanna McQueen was also there in her typical style to wave goodbye the the latest of the dead McQueens.
Celine was left terrified after Cameron kidnapped her and locked her up in the shack.
It was the same shack the deranged drug dealer locked Lockie up in before murdering him.
Nurse Celine realised her fate was sealed after she finds the message Lockie scratched into the floor while he was being held there.
It read: "Cameron is a killer."
It came after, in the village Cameron was plunged into an even worse mood by Leela telling him she wanted to postpone their wedding until after she had the baby.
He eventually stormed back to the shack, to confront Celine about her plan to dob him in, but as she tried to convince him that she’ll keep her mouth shut, Cam refused to believe her and that was the end of Celine.
Actress Sarah George, who left the soap after two years playing Celine, said: "I have absolutely loved playing Celine. I've loved being a McQueen even more. It has been amazing, from the massive train crash at the beginning to everything n the middle - all the ups and down.
"I just want to say thank you for everyone for the support, for the nice messages and just for really accepting Celine."
Actor Cameron Moore, who plays killer Cam in the soap, added: "Sarah George, it breaks my heart to see you go. But honestly I've had the best time working with you. I'm really glad it was just us that got to do all these scenes in the last block.
"I've thoroughly enjoyed it. I've enjoyed every second of working with you and I think you're extremely talented."
- Hollyoaks airs weeknights on Channel 4 at 6.30pm with a first look episode on 7pm
