Pregnant Cheryl reveals she ‘doesn’t want’ an extravagant Christmas gift amid rumours Liam will propose when baby is born
The former X Factor judge doesn't want big and fancy gifts this year, as her romance with the One Direction hunk heats up
CHERYL has revealed she doesn't want an extravagant Christmas gift this year, as she focuses on her future with Liam Payne.
The former X Factor judge recently stepped out showing off her growing bump alongside her other half, but while she's yet to confirm pregnancy rumours, she is looking forward to spending the festive season with her man.
Speaking to , she said: "I used to really look forward to what I was going to get," before adding: 'But now I just don’t need anything. I just love the quiet time, the family time. Being with people, that’s what’s important to me."
Cheryl also gushed over her family and loved ones.
"It’s my favourite time of year," she told the mag. "It’s a nostalgic thing - I’m from a big family and Christmas was so magical when I was a kid.
"Now I live it vicariously through my nieces and nephews. I love watching the magic in their little eyes."
She added: "There are always loads of kids around when we’re all together for Christmas, I love watching cartoons and Christmas films with them."
Joking about her choice of clothes, Cheryl admitted she loves nothing more than lounging around in festive pyjamas with an "elasticated waistband".
While she's not asked Santa for anything big, Cheryl could be in for a surprise as it's claimed Liam is set to propose following the birth of their baby.
The One Direction singer is thought to have been inspired by Kimberley Walsh’s partner Justin who proposed to her in the delivery room.

A source told the : “Liam got the idea to propose straight after the birth after finding out that Justin popped the question after the delivery of their first child.
“It’s given Liam so many ideas. There will definitely be wedding bells sooner than we expected.”
Justin popped the question to Cheryl’s best mate and former bandmates Kimberley just moments after she gave birth to their son Bobby.
She told Hello magazine at the time: “I’d just handed Bobby to Justin, so he had our gorgeous newborn son in one arm and I remember Bobby had his eyes open.
“Bobby didn’t take his gaze off me as Justin slipped his other hand into his pocket and suddenly the pair of them were sinking down towards the floor. I said, “What are you doing?”, then Justin pulled out this gorgeous ring.”
