But since then, Mel has been noticeably solo while hitting the festival performance scene hard and focusing on her music.

Her Raya profile shows a series of sultry snaps, and lists her interests as including travel, food and cycling.

It features Stevie Wonder’s catchy 1977 hit Sir Duke as her soundtrack.

A pal told us: “Mel’s in a really good place.

“She is loving performing and meeting fans.

"Meeting someone would just be a bonus.”

Speaking about love recently Mel shared: “I think being a successful woman makes things more complicated.

“But who knows the reasons why some people find a soulmate and stay together for ever and then other people don’t.

“I’ve never, never wanted to marry.

"Maybe marriage works for some people, but maybe to think it works for the majority is an old-fashioned notion.

“I’ve decided that life is a series of chapters. I think that’s a good way to not have regrets.”

Mel split from boyfriend of seven years Joe Marshall, who had also become her manager, last summer.

She called time on the relationship because of her hectic work patterns.

Hopefully, her latest app move will give her a Raya hope.

"We feel like good friends, rather than colleagues. She is the same age as my big sister.”

Asked which item Indiyah would like to dress Maya in from her range, she said: “Maya would look super sexy in my little black dress – she has got such a gorgeous body.

"She gives me Rihanna vibes. She is effortless.”

She wrote: “I couldn’t take the pain anymore honestly.

"In some sort of telepathic way, I have been receiving so many messages that melt my heart from friends and I thank you.

“I’ve been playing it strong for way too long and my Instagram may seem perfect but it’s far from reality and I think we all know that!”

The mum-of-two and fitness trainer Sam, got engaged in September 2021 and tied the knot in a small ceremony in June 2022.

Pals claim Sam ended their union as Brit’s behaviour became increasingly “erratic”.

He confirmed their split on his social media on Thursday.

Brit shot to stardom in 1998 aged just 16 with her chart-topper  . . . Baby One More Time.

But she has battled mental health problems and won a bruising court fight to be released from a 13-year conservatorship in 2021.

The singer – who had been married twice before – has hired divorce lawyer Laura Wasser who boasts clients such as Kim Kardashian and Kevin Costner.

I hope she gets the help she needs . .
