Scarlett Moffatt beams as she lands back in Newcastle airport fresh from winning I’m A Celebrity as campmates head home too
TV star looked delighted to be back home in the North East after almost a month in Australia
SCARLETT Moffatt has made a triumphant return home to the North East after being crowned I'm a Celebrity's Queen of the Jungle.
The 26-year-old beamed with delight as she touched down on home soil at Newcastle Airport on Wednesday, barely three days since she won the ITV reality show.
Dressed in a baggy black T-shirt and jeans, the Gogglebox star clutched the hand of her little sister Ava-Grace as she made her way out of the terminal.
Scarlett beat her fellow celebrities Joel Dommett and Adam Thomas to the title on Sunday night, having been a huge fan of the show since it started back in 2002.
The star had previously toasted her success at winning by swigging down the champers as she relaxed on her first-class flight home with her fellow campmates.
Scarlett shared a snap with Emmerdale star Adam Thomas and Homes Under The Hammer presenter Martin Roberts, who grinned merrily as they cradled glasses of fizz.
While Scarlett touched down in the North East, Emmerdale actor Adam arrived home to Manchester with fiancee Caroline Daly and their son Ted following their long-haul trip via Dubai.
Adam, who finished third behind Scarlett and comedian Joel Dommett, could barely even manage a smile for the waiting photographers.
It seemed like the lengthy plane journey had taken it out of the soap favourite and perhaps the glasses served to hide his weary peepers.
He made sure to dress causally for the journey and wore a matching brown hoodie and tracksuit trousers.

However Carol Vorderman was full of smiles for the waiting paparazzi as she touched down at Heathrow Airport in London.
The TV presenter looked stylish and fresh faced despite her journey from the other side of the world, wearing a black and white striped dress, over the knee boots and a fur trimmed black jacket.
The 55-year-old was pictured bidding goodbye to Extra Camp host and former Queen of the Jungle Vicky Pattison, who pushed along a trolley piled with large suitcases.
The star hid her eyes behind a pair of sunglasses while she pulled the hood up on her sweater to cover her head, clearly not in the mood to be pictured.
Also arriving at Heathrow was former Strictly Come Dancing professional Ola Jordan and her husband James.
The couple held hands while Ola waved happily as they made their way to the exit, with the dancer showing off her figure in tight white jeans and a matching jacket.
Hosts Ant and Dec also look delighted to be back in Blighty, giving their famous cheeky smiles as they headed to their vehicles.
While Dec pushed his own trolley, sneaky Ant had managed to get someone else to deal with all his suitcases after a month in Australia.
Also landing back at Heathrow was Olympic hockey player Sam Quek, who got into the festive spirit by wearing a navy fair isle style jumper with reindeer around the neckline.
Having dressed for comfort for the long flight, she added a pair of jogging bottoms and sneakers.
