Presenter loves a tipple and couldn't hide his glee as he opened the latest window
PHILLIP Schofield is taking the spirit of Christmas quite literally - with a £130 alcohol filled advent calendar.
The This Morning presenter revealed his Chase '24 Days of Christmas Spirit' purchase on Snapchat, and has been keeping his fans up to date on what's behind each window via the app.
On Wednesday, the 54-year-old had to play catch up, having missed Tuesdays window, so he got to open two at once.
Filming the big reveal, the presenter can be heard saying: "I'm late today, what's in the sixth...marmalade vodka, oh yes."
Phil immediately opened the next box, saying: "What's in the seventh, it is...elegant gin, now that's right up my street."
Phil and his This Morning co-host Holly Willoughby have made no secret of their love of a tipple or two, and with 24 50ml bottles to get through, it looks set to be a Merry Christmas in the Schofield household.
The calendar features different flavoured vodkas including sloe & mulberry, smoked and marmalade, as well as a variety of gins including Seville orange and pink grapefruit.

Rounding out the set is a selection of liqueurs, but while £130 might be a lot for some people, it was significantly cheaper than a whiskey-based advent he and Holly were shown on the programme last month.
The duo were in high spirits after taking a sip of the pricey tipple in its mini bottle, which was one of just 10 ever produced.
Phil seemed eager to get his hands on the booze and didn't hesitate in taking a gulp as Holly encouraged him.
She questioned its super-expensive price tag before urging: "It's actually £1,000! Drink it!"
An animated Phil was left wide-eyed in delight after taking a sip as he gushed: "It's really smooth."
After learning the cost of the Drink By Dram product, Holly said she wouldn't have been able to enjoy it, while her co-host quickly responded: "I could!" and tucked the bottle in his pocket.
Holly delicately placed the Japanese liquor to her lips and savoured the taste as they juggled drinking with hosting a segment on Amazing Advent Calendars alongside Natalie Anderson.
